Tell me, tell me, pleeeeeeeeeeese!
A guy I work with, Joe Leonetti, turned me on to the place.

I'm sure it's to make sure you keep coming back.. They could have the worst food, but the scenery is great!!![]()

There are two best Italian Restaurants in Delaware, at least north of the canal. One is La Casa Pasta and the other is Madelines. Those that like Mrs. Robino's should try someplace else. I rank them at the bottom. Attilio's is good, but when you compare them to Madelines, they are second rate.
I'm a huge Lamberti's fan (the one on Philly pike). Never had a bad dish/experience there.
I don't wanna be on a diet!!!!!
theresa, you know your italian restaraunts!!!
we had dinner in mrs robino
s a year or so ago and it was terrible.
its a shame, used to be on eof the better restaraunts, no more.
madelines and casa pasta are probably the best.
also, try the riviera in the concord mall, looks like a pizza joint but suprisingly good pasta dishes.
ciao
I remember back in the late 60's and early 70's, Mrs. Robino's was the place to go. Nobody could top that Italian food. However, over the years, it went down hill. Nothing authentic about their food.
I'll have to try Riviera's next time I'm up at the mall. I have had their pizza and it's pretty good.
I find Rivera's too salty but I know many people who love them.
I still prefer Attilio's over Madeline's, although both are great. We do Madeline's when we have a big party b/c they can seat more.
Fried hot peppers.....god, I love them!
Still...the best Italian food in Wilmington is my Mom's!
lol.....I like The Olive Garden because they have awesome drinks
America is an idea, but it's an idea that brings with it some baggage, like power brings responsibility. It's an idea that brings with it equality, but equality even though it's the highest calling, is the hardest to reach. What happened to my reply to hockeyandDMB????
we just moved servers unexpectedly, sorry Theresa
i got the email while i was out earlier, by the time i got home our host was already in the process of moving us. otherwise i would have closed the site temporarily for the move. sorry for the inconvenience.
no problem......just curious
hockeyandDMB......I guess I'll try again.
I have to disagree with you. The best Italian food in Wilmington is MINE
I don't think Attilio's sauce is as good as Madelines, but I'll have to agree with you on the fried hot peppers, even though they don't agree with me.
Seriously...I know the best Italian food is made in our kitchens using our Italian grandma's old tricks and recipes.
Now, if I could just get my Mom to give me some of those secrets that are passed down from generation to generation. I think, she thinks, she's too young to be devulging them (she's 70).![]()

I'll go to restaurants just for the drinks. Like La Tolteca....a pitcher of margaritas and I don;t give a shit what food you serve me. I'll just randomly point at the menu. Yum....margaritas! They make me warm and fuzzy!
yup....sign me up for that too. Margaritas are my second fave drink, right after appletinis
