Aisha has opted to have her virginity surgically restored in a delicate but painful surgery called hymenoplasties -- where the hymen is re-created from the already torn tissue, or a new membrane is inserted.
"If my husband cannot prove to his family that I am a virgin, I would be hounded, ostracised and sent home in disgrace,” Salim told England’s Daily Mail.

There's an anesthetic/disinfectant spray I used post-op when I had the breast reduction that would work just as well for a hymen job... I don't know the name for it in the English-speaking market but I'm sure it's available.

Would that be able to be used internally though? I know when my friend had her baby, she ripped and had to be sewn up and the dr. just gave her ibprofen for the pain.

This isn't the first I've heard of it. I have heard of children of rape or molestation doing it as well, I guess it gives them the sense of "giving" themselves for the first time.

PG the anastesia stuff can't be used, risk of infection because the work is done internally. Even when I ummm.... ripped ... HORRIBLY... I was only given T3 which pretty much sucks butt. Although they said i could use dermoblast limitedly. O yay...

What bothers me more than the surgery is that she is doing all this for an arranged marriage. Most likely to some guy she will never love and will have to deal with him for the rest of her life. That's the real tragedy.
