    Former DE Senator, Ted Kaufman Objects to SEC Nominee Jay Clayton

    According to the Congressional paper "The HILL", OpEd piece by former Democrat Delaware Senator Ted Kaufman;

    'Jay Clayton as SEC chair akin to a fox guarding a hen house'

    As reflected by the former Senator

    The Trump campaign’s final TV commercial last November spelled out his pledge to take on Wall Street. It featured a photo of Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein and a voice over describing “a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class.”

    If you worked for Goldman Sachs, you might have thought you were in for a tough time when the election results came in.

    Senator Ted Kaufman continued....

    It soon became apparent that Goldman had little to fear after the announcements of Trump appointees such as Steven Bannon, Trump's top advisor in the White House and a former Goldman partner; Secretary of Treasury Steven Mnuchin, a former Goldman partner; Chairman of the National Economic Club Gary Cohn, the former president of Goldman and Goldman Sach’s “go-to” lawyer, Walter “Jay” Clayton, for chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

    We already have an Environmental Protection Agency head who has made a career out of suing that agency. Do we really want an SEC chairman who has spent his career fighting the SEC?

    and the Senator closes - correctly - stating;

    Can anyone seriously suggest that Jay Clayton is that person?

    What say ye - do you agree?

    Im suspect anytime a democrat or politician in general opens his mouth. The only person I trust to tell me the truth is Trump and I stand by his judgment

    I perceive you have a good heart Max; and pray, your devotion to partisanship, over everything else, does not rob your humanity, of the greater good.

    Like farmers of their fields - you can trust - but must verify.

    It's in black, white and color = Trump ran against Goldman Sachs; but does just opposite, when he's in

    TRUST.....

    1. Trump Says Goldman Sachs "Owns" Ted Cruz

    There was a brief time in January when Texas Sen. Ted Cruz was beating Trump in national polls. Trump struck back at a rally in Iowa where he attacked Cruz for having improperly disclosed a million dollar loan he'd received from Goldman Sachs, and said Cruz wouldn't protect people from the big banks. Trump, of course owes millions to the bank through his companies.

    Was there another loan that Ted Cruz FORGOT to file. Goldman Sachs owns him, he will do anything they demand. Not much of a reformer!

    Today is a great day for me

    Cant lose

    If they deny Clayton, I get brag rights

    Should they confirm him...eToys case finally gets its day in court.

    Clayton would be criminally negligent to touch eToys case; because he made money from Sachs & Bain Cap (which he is going to have to give back)

    Traub's gang is (finally) going down

    These "good ole boyz" have backed themselves into a corner. No vote on Jay Clayton; because ther's a conundrum. If he is not confirmed, another loss for The Donald, and the media smelling blood in the water.

    Should Jay Clayton be confirmed, our eToys case wins. He would be criminally negligent to touch our eToys case (as it involves Goldman Sachs, Sullivan Cromwell, MNAT and Bain Capital {Clayton invested in a Bain fund}).

    Either way, our eToys case wins.

    Can't do anything else, until they make up their minds.

    If they were smart, the best damage control, is for Clayton to bow out, for "personal reasons".

    In that scenario - we still win!

    Thanks, if there's any justice in our United States, it will work out - they've done too much wrongs.

    And this latest - genius move - is hubris gone a step, too far.

    Re: Former DE Senator, Ted Kaufman Objects to SEC Nominee Jay Clayton

    Tomorrow is D'day on the nomination, Senate, prelim vote, concerning Jay Clayton, to be head of the SEC.

    My filing, seeking a TRO to block the nomination/confirmation, to the Washington, D.C. District Court, was illegally blocked from being docketed.

    First excuse is the Clerk wanted to give the judge a few weeks to reiew my filing; and the most recent excuse, was a demand for me to provide the "case number" that they are refusing to provide me.

    It is all, so absurd!
