Not so sure it is the home of the Delaware Sports League, but I will say they play some things there. Pretty sure it's just volleyball, outdoor volleyball that is. Ah I stand corrected, they play Kickball and it looks like Cornhole there too, my bad. Oh and in case you were wondering, their home is really in Wilmington. Around the St. Anthony area, to be more precise.

Never said I was a Champ at MTB, not to mention don't know how Chase got lumped into that.

hey Cracker maybe one day when I get back over to Middle Run, afterwards. We could meet at McGlynns for a burger and brew. Not sure when I'll get back over there though, but hopefully it will be soon.

I'm not poor and I've only been to Skyline Grill once. However, the one time I was there pretty much every car in the parking lot was a Benz or a BMW. I was carrying a Coach purse and I felt like the women were looking down their noses at me because they were all carrying Channel or Louis Vuitton. It sure did not feel middle class to me.

America is an idea, but it's an idea that brings with it some baggage, like power brings responsibility. It's an idea that brings with it equality, but equality even though it's the highest calling, is the hardest to reach. The idea that anything is possible, that's one of the reasons why I'm a fan of America. - Bono, Commencement University of Pennsylvania May 17, 2004

Not sure where any of those places are. Its a damn shame that no locals are willing to come out and show me around...

McGlynns is on Polly Drummond Road, in the Polly Drummond Shopping Center. It's the Shopping Center that has Rite Aid, Dunkin Donuts, and I think Zingo's is pretty much right next to it, or behind it, depending on what way your are going.

Henry's Bike Shop just opened up a new location there, pretty much because it is a huge spot for the MTB'rs to park at, and hit up. Great location for a bike shop, in my opinion. I know I have hit it up after a ride, sometimes before a ride too. Spare tubes are a gem, on the trails, for you or someone who may need one that you ride by.

FWIW, there is also one in Peoples Plaza, in Glasgow.

    Tracy,

That was a neat story. It got me thinking of a scene from a favorite Amy Adams movie , "Leap Year".
Anna: What about my suitcase?" Declan : Don't worry about Louie ,I'll get it!" Anna:"It's a Vuitton. Declan: "What?" Anna: "A Louis Vuitton?" Declan: "Come On. Ah, is it yourself Louis? Can I give you a hand getting into the car Louis? She named her suitcase, she's a crackpot"! lol

We generally go to McGlynn's or Tyler Fitzgeralds. Bellicose is correct - McGlynn's is on Polly Drummond, at the intersection with New Linden Hill Rd. Tyler's is on Route 7/Limestone Road, north of Goldey Beacom, on the right. (Limestone Road @ Ocheltree Lane)

I'm sure we can get a couple people to go out... it's just that we old folks have kids to deal with from time to time.

I'm gonna have to check these places out and see if they're walkable. Either that or I'm just gonna get hammered and start walking...
