Max , try to see the point that hockey and Kid Lester were making without distracting from it. Kid Lester pointed out, So did hockey make the same point, The House GOP leadership refused to compromise on Obama's proposal to cut the deficit $4 Trillion last year. That proposal extended cuts for 98% of all Americans and 97% of small businesses. But instead of compromising, Republicans simply refused to consider it. They claim otherwise,but they are not telling the truth. The Republicans could not even concede to a 2% hike on the wealthiest Americans!

I wouldn't swear to your figures but totally agree there is no compromising or trying to work together anymore. No matter who wins this election if both houses of Congress are still divided will any goals be possible to accomplish?
