Thank yew, I like all my "anti-obama, chain email, kooky stuff" in one nice pile....
Although all of this could have been avoided if Mr. Obama would just come out and admit that he is a non-citizen Islamic radical American haterish......something something....so and so.
Awesome, now Obama and Romney have their own evil hate threads!!
OMG, I made it into the Super Anti-Obama Thread! Kewl!
I actually don't consider myself to be so much anti-Obama or anti-Romney, as I am pro-liberty. I'm anti-anything that infringes on liberty.
Ordinary people -- not just a small fringe group of zealots -- are really afraid today. They see the country they adore being attacked at all levels; they see their freedoms under assault, their life savings genuinely in jeopardy, an endlessly anemic economy, a longer period of sustained unemployment than we've experienced in a half-century and a national financial crisis, born of world-historic national debt, that this president will not help avert.
These are extremely troubled times. The government is on course to gobble up our health care system; businesses are afraid to hire because of the uncertainties caused by new taxes and regulations that will be unleashed with Obamacare -- along with the largest tax increase in the nation's history, which is already awaiting us in January. Small businesses see an administration that not only is at war with the private sector but also appears to be on a mission to punish and obliterate our domestic energy sources and waste billions more in borrowed federal dollars on green energy projects doomed to fail.
Why? How can anyone explain this insanity? Does Obama truly harbor a grudge against America? What did he mean when he said he wanted to fundamentally change America? What did his wife mean when she said she'd never been proud of America in her adult life before he rose to power? What possesses Obama to deride and apologize for America? What drives him to instinctively distrust business and the private sector and to believe that federal planners ought to have enormously more discretion in how our income and wealth are distributed? What drives him to reject the American concept of equal opportunity and promote the notion of equality of outcomes? Why is he determined to energize labor unions and encourage a permanently adversarial climate between labor and management? Why is he so adamant about the United States deferring to international bodies in the conduct of its foreign affairs? Why is he hellbent on downscaling our nuclear and conventional forces and dismantling our military space program and our missile defenses?
Are people not wholly rational in wondering just what in the world is going on?
My personal belief is that Obama, like so many leftist radicals, has a strong distaste for pre-Obama America and that he believes that the United States has been an imperialistic international bully, that we've consumed too much of the world's resources, that we've been an environmental felon and that our capitalistic system unfairly and inequitably distributes income and wealth -- and I think he means to effect wholesale change to rectify those sins.
Do I believe that he wants to "destroy" America, as such? No. In his mind, as warped and foreign as I think it is, he doubtlessly believes he is helping to create a better America -- a utopia of sorts. That is, he is intentionally trying to fundamentally transform America into something that he believes would be better but that most Americans -- and infinitely more if they understood the full scope of what he is up to -- would consider horrific, an America that we would barely recognize as the one bequeathed to us by our ancestors.
On the financial front alone, Obama is single-handedly preventing entitlement and discretionary spending reform, without which -- as I've said dozens of times -- America will face financial catastrophe. There is less than zero question that he is doing that on purpose, regardless of whether you think he is otherwise intentionally damaging America. There is no question that he is acting as though he has a vendetta against the oil, coal, natural gas and nuclear power industries. There is also little question that he is intentionally dividing Americans on the basis of race, economic class, gender, sexual orientation and, sometimes, religion.
You don't have to be a conspiracy theorist to recognize the damage Obama is doing to the republic, and we haven't even touched on his unconstitutional and lawless usurpations of authority. The question isn't whether he is intentionally destroying America. The question is whether he is intentionally pursuing a set of policies that are definitely damaging America, irrespective of his motives.
The answer is -- irrefutably, emphatically -- "yes."
You have just been frightened by a wall of text, thanks for playing.
Thanks for cleaning up the forum Chase.
"I'm 74 and Tired" Worth reading...
This should be required reading for every man, woman and child in Jamaica,
the UK , United States of America , Canada , Australia and New Zealand
"I'm 74 and I'm Tired"
I'm 74. Except for brief period in the 50's when I was doing my National
Service, I've worked hardsince I was 17. Except for some serious
health challenges, I put in 50-hour weeks, and didn't call in sick in nearly
40 years. I made a reasonable salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my
income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, it looks as
though retirement was a bad idea,
and I'm tired. Very tired.
I'm tiredof being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who
don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take
the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy
to earn it.
I'm tiredof being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I
can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and
daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight
offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't
"believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning
teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the
genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and
Shari'a law tells them to.
I'm tiredof being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let
Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosques
and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia , New Zealand ,
UK, America and Canada , while no one from these countries are allowed to
fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any other
Arab country to teach love and tolerance..
I'm tiredof being told I must lower my living standard to fight global
warming, which no one is allowed to debate.
I'm tiredof being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help
support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ
rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses
or stick a needle in their arm while they tried to fight it off?
I'm tiredof hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all
parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful
mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting
caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.
I'm really tiredof people who don't take responsibility for their lives and
actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination
or big-whatever for their problems.
I'm also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their teens and
early 20's be-deck them selves in tattoos and face studs, thereby making
themselves un-employable and claiming money from the Government.
Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 74. Because, mostly, I'm not
going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry for
my granddaughter and her children. Thank God I'm on the way out and not
on the way in.
There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us
sends it on!
There’s an email floating around – entitled “I’m 76 and tired” – purportedly sent by me. I did not write the email, I did not send the email, I’m not 76, and I don’t subscribe to the ugly views expressed in the email.
- Bill Cosby
C'mon dude, it took me like 2 seconds to find that link. With all due respect are you trolling or do you just not care about the truth at all?
Gott weiẞ ich will kein Engel sein.
I put Outahere on ignore months ago. However, occasionally when I check the latest posts on TD, I see one from him that begs a response for the benefit of the regular posters--not that anyone needs my views to discern the fundamental nature of his positions. As it is, precious few people even view his posts and even fewer--especially from the regulars on here--respond to his posts.
I've never met the poster and I don't know a thing about his--or perhaps her--real-life persona. But the seeming consistency to lie to make points is astounding. Either he/she fails to grasp the fact that lying to make a point means one does not have one to make; or, he/she knows this very well and thinks the rest of us are too stupid to figure it out.
Anyway, Bill Cosby not only NEVER said what Outahere attributes to him, he categorically denied it. If you want to read precisely what Cosby said about it and what he thinks of the blogger who actually posted it, click here.
I apologize for this interruption; now... let the regularly scheduled programming resume.
Even if the pessimists are right, in the end, the optimists will have had a much more enjoyable trip through life.
The National Rifle Association has demanded that the United Nations leave civilian weapons out of a treaty on international arms sales that it is negotiating this month.
Wayne LaPierre, the group’s CEO, warned Wednesday that the treaty won’t pass Congress if it does include restrictions on civilian arms, as this would trump Americans’ right to bear arms under the Second Amendment.
He said 58 senators have promised to oppose a treaty, that covers civilian weapons. A U.N. treaty would need approval from two-thirds of the Senate to become law in the United States.
“I am here to announce NRA's strong opposition to anti-freedom policies that disregard American citizens' right to self-defense. No foreign influence has jurisdiction over the freedoms our Founding Fathers guaranteed to us,” LaPierre said at the U.N Arms Trade Treaty Conference.
“The only way to address NRA's objections is to simply and completely remove civilian firearms from the scope of the treaty. That is the only solution. On that, there will be no compromise.”
The 58 senators cited by LaPierre signed a letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the issue. Written by Sens. Jerry Moran, R-Kansas, and Jon Tester, D-Mont., it doesn’t reject regulation of civilian arms sales but indicates it would be difficult for Congress to pass a treaty including civilian arms.
The senators oppose “any inclusion of small arms, light weapons, ammunition or related materials that would make the treaty overly broad and virtually unenforceable,” the letter says.
The senators can’t accept a treaty that “in any way restricts the rights of law-abiding U.S. citizens to manufacture, assemble, possess, transfer or purchase firearms, ammunition and related items.”
Treaty proponents say keeping civilian weapons out of the agreement would make it easier for terrorists and rogue regimes to gain deadly arms. And, they say, there’s no need to worry about the Second Amendment, as the Constitution trumps international law.
I don't trust chain emails, period. At best, they are great exaggerations of the truth; at worst, they're outright lies.
This particular one was debunked a long time ago.
This has been posted here numerous times on talkdelaware and each time it has been debunked as not bill Cosby as the author

Barack Obama was at it again. First, it's clear the the Obama reelection campaign is centered around only one thing: to tell the American people that Mitt Romney is just too successful and too out of touch to be president. Second, it's also clear that Obama will continue to show the American people that he is actually the one who is out of touch. As noted by CNN, Obama played yet another round of golf this past Sunday.
The president hit the links at Fort Belvoir, and the White House said he was joined by his regular partner Marvin Nicholson, U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk, and his senior adviser David Plouffe. No jobs, massive debt, and all Obama can do is blame the rich and then go play golf. It's time for a president who is actually in touch with the American people.
Virginia is one of seven toss-up battleground states on the CNN Electoral Map.
Obama hit his 100th round of golf as president on Father's Day this year.
golf is evil. anyone who plays golf is evil. tiger woods plays golf and cheated on his wife. Tiger is evil. therefore obama must be evil
