Memorial Day - The Unofficial Start To Summer - What Do You Have Planned

The unofficial start to summer is here and most of us are off on a long weekend?

What do you have planned? Going anywhere? Doing anything?

For me, after the boy is done his baseball game Saturday, the family and I are heading down to the Chesapeake. I'm looking to get the kayak in for a few hours each day, maybe a little crabbing things like that.

If I didn't have to work I wouldn't go out of the house with all the traffic and "fun seekers" coming down to the beach with the nice weather predicted.It's really not something year round residents look forward to.

I plan to sit on my couch and drink beer, without the need to get dressed or go to work the next day.

Maybe, just maybe, I may venture to NE PA for a night... but I doubt it.

I'll be in Scranton, PA at the Toyota Pavilion on Montage Mountain in the first row at a concert with my daughter, her bf and a dozen of my friends. I can not wait!!!!!

We'll hit Wegman's on the way.... that needs a mention.

GL.... Kayaking is one of my fav activities. There are not enough places to kayak around here. I've been challenged to drop my kayak in the pond up at Brandywine Town Center. I don't think I'd get much of a workout before the authorities wade out to yell at me.

Have you been down the Brandywine or any other places in SE PA or DE that you can recommend?

I have. there are also places you can drop in the different wildlife refuges in DE and PA. Or along the upper delaware river.

Let's see...I have to get my eyebrows waxed, hubby's car needs an oil change, BBQ up in NJ, clean my closet and hopefully take some time to just relax. No baseball or softball this weekend for him so I'm hoping for some quality time with hubby.

did my cars oil change yesterday

repalced the belt tensioner spring on the tractor yesterday

and the drive belt

and it still doesnt do anything

so i pulled the trasnmission last night

im openeing it tonight to see if i can spot a problem there

i probably will, so ill order some gears and shit

then ill probably pay my neighbor to cut my grass, cause the gears will take forever to ship

then, idk, not sure if Angela has weekend plans. im trying to start p90x tonight.

Not planning to go anywhere....homework, housework, laundry, and WOW. Maybe some reading but other than that I'm doing as little as possible.
