Rehoboth Beach masseur charged with rape

Robert B. DiamondRehoboth Beach police arrested a Rehoboth Beach masseuse May 7 in connection with fourth-degree rape after police say he improperly touched a victim during massage treatments.

Robert B. Diamond, 47, of Langhorne, Pa., and Rehoboth Beach, was charged with two counts of fourth-degree rape, one count of unlawful imprisonment and five counts of third-degree unlawful sexual contact.
A woman received a massage from Diamond – also known as Doctor Bob and Pastor Bob – at the Kaya Wellness Center in Rehoboth Beach when the incident occurred, said Chief Keith Banks of the Rehoboth Beach Police Department. Banks said Diamond had a cease-and-desist order in 2011 to stop practicing chiropractic work and massage therapy without a license. Diamond was released after posting a $13,000 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in the Court of Common Pleas on May 17.
