Oysters and beer highlight May 9 Inland Bays fundraiser in Georgetown
Join Delaware’s two National Estuary Programs as they team up to celebrate oysters in the First State. The Center for the Inland Bays and The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary will host a fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 9 at 16 Mile Brewery’s new facility in Georgetown.
16 Mile has generously extended its hospitality to hold the event at their new building and donated their new Oyster Stout for the event.
The evening will feature freshly shucked oysters, snacks and appetizers from local restaurants, a tour of the brewery and 16 Mile limited-edition Delaware Oyster Stout.
Other sponsors include Bethany Blues, Port in Dewey Beach, Henlopen City Oyster House, Bivalve Packing, and Banks Wines and Spirits.
