    The Avengers - Movie Review

There are no words to describe how this film was.

    Great? Awesome? Fantastic?

Not a chance. These words don't even come close.

This movie was done in a way that would make all comic book geeks proud. It is a movie that would make all Avengers fans proud. The best parts of every character, the greatness of every one of them put together in this movie make you want to stand up and shout Hell Ya! That's how it's done!

The action was big screen intense! The movie dialog, the interaction between Cap and Iron Man, Stark and Banner, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Nick Fury, etc...

I went last night to the midnight show with my son and was blown away by everything in this movie! See it!

    GL

I was thinking of taking DH to this over the weekend, now I'm convinced. With such a stellar review from you I'm definately going to see this this weekend. My only drawback is that I've not see the Hulk or Capt Amer. yet. Will this influence anything for this movie for me? Should I see them first?

You don't really need to see either of them. Those movies provide just a small amount of background for the Avengers Movie. Thor and Iron Man really set up this movie but again, it stands on its own without the need to see the others.

Guess I really need to try and convince Wifey to go this weekend, mentioned it last night, and she said I'll think about it. I don't want to see it in 3D though.

GL, did you see it in 3D, and if so was it worth it?

you have Spiderman and Batman still out there to come out this summer.

everything about this was perfect. No long set up. No long character intro. It jumped right in and got right to it.

It reminded me of Star Wars in a way where you had the final conflict last over half an hour.

This movie was SO, so good. I'm taking the boys to see it ASAP so I can see it twice on the big screen.

I'm a HUGE Joss Whedon fan. There's no mistaking that he wrote this movie.

Already made over a billion dollars.

See what happens when you spend some money on actually writing A SCRIPT!

America is an idea, but it's an idea that brings with it some baggage, like power brings responsibility. It's an idea that brings with it equality, but equality even though it's the highest calling, is the hardest to reach. RDJ is in it, OF COURSE it has a script!

Whether it makes any sense... well, he has the clout to influence Whedon, I think, so yes, it may even make actual sense.

I guess you caught me being a movie snob....of course I meant, there's a well thought out, worth paying $10 to go see script?

It's the best written superhero movie I've ever seen. The character development and dialogue are awesome. It's thoroughly entertaining all the way through. The plot is fairly simple. It's a comic book, after all. But it's a helluva ride. There is no doubt it's worth paying to see on the big screen.

I must see this. I'll have to twist my husband's arm. Comic book movies are just not his thing.

Definitely the other way around for me. Wifey will watch them with me, but it would more then likely be at home and rented. Heck she even likes some of them, maybe not as much as me. Because I will watch them everytime it comes on TV.

He'd watch it with me at home but I'd like to see it in the theater.
