Nearly 900 wrongly told they're admitted to UCLA
LOS ANGELES (AP) — UCLA is apologizing for mistakenly sending almost 900 applicants emails congratulating them on getting into the highly competitive school.
The Los Angeles Times reports the email about financial aid awards went out to high school seniors last weekend.
Campus spokesman Ricardo Vasquez says all the high school seniors who received the email are on the waiting list for admission, and will remain there for the time being.
The school's financial aid office sent out a message Monday to clarify for the wait-listed students that they hadn't been admitted, and offered an apology.

Re: Nearly 900 wrongly told they're admitted to UCLA
Didn't the University of Delaware do something like this last year? Though I admit, not being admitted to UCLA when told they were would be a little more devastating
