Gingrich To Campaign In Sussex County Thursday

GREENWOOD, Del. - Just weeks before the Primary election in Delaware, Presidential hopefuls are hoping to win over residents in the First State.
Newt Gingrich and his wife Callista are expected to bring their campaign to Sussex County on Thursday. The former House Speaker is scheduled to speak to employees at the Delaware Electric Cooperative in Greenwood at 1:30 p.m.
Gingrich and his wife are also scheduled to attend two rallies. The first will be held at the Magnolia Fire Hall from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Then second rally will be held at the Millsboro Fire Hall from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
Earlier in the day, Mrs. Gingrich is expected to visit Calvary Christian Academy in Delaware. She is touring the school and reading "Sweet Land of Liberty" to students.
The Delaware Primary is being held on April 24.

I tend to agree....it sounds crass, but does Delaware really make enough of a difference nationwide to affect the outcome of the Republican nomination? Unless he wanted to visit the beach or buy some scrapple, seems like a waste of time to me.

America is an idea, but it's an idea that brings with it some baggage, like power brings responsibility. It's an idea that brings with it equality, but equality even though it's the highest calling, is the hardest to reach. The idea that anything is possible, that's one of the reasons why I'm a fan of America. - Bono, Commencement University of Pennsylvania May 17, 2004

Since he cared enough to show respect for Delaware (even came to Millsboro) I would vote for him in the Primary. Don't get upset people. We're talking PRIMARY not Presidential Election.
