Disney Hires Military Veterans as Part of New Program

Disney just announced a new plan to hire more than 1,000 military veterans over the next three years.

The C.E.O says the "heroes work here" program is all about increasing their commitment and support for these modern day heroes.

The theme parks and entertainment giant said it will also launch a nation-wide public awareness campaign, hoping other companies follow suit.

In a similar effort, General Electric recently announced its plans to 5,000 vets over the next five years.
