WTB: I Need A Vehicle

I've got about $1200 and need a ride. I don't care in the least about cosmetic appearance. I need 4 doors, cuz I've got car seats for kids, and something I can put about 100 miles a week on to get back and forth to work. I really don't care what it looks like. If it's reliable, I'm interested.

I got rid of the Ford last summer when I bought a van. Van blew up and it's too expensive to fix. Wish I had that Escort now. That thing was a good running car.

Ill ask my neighbor, She just bought one and the dealer wouldn't take her '89 civic as a trade.

So the civic is really an '89 accord. I talked to her today as she has it in the driveway under a cover, she was asking 2400, has come down to 1800. She is open to negotiation, Its a 5 speed tho, if you wanna look at it let me know and I'll set something up for you.

5 speeds no problem. I've been driving stick my whole life.

Unfortunately, 1200 is really all I have right now. And that'd be pushing it to the limit. I wouldn't want to waste her time. Even if it's got low miles and is in great shape, I just don't have any room to negotiate.
