IMO, it is inspiring to me that 1 guy can have such a drive and vision and determination to organize from the ground up this large of a initiative. Seems like a good cause to me.

I heard about this guys year or two ago on NPR. NPR had interviewed a young adult who escaped Kony and his army. It was so scary to hear about the children stolen, the abuse and killing. You never get over that kind of childhood.

Anyway..... I found this on Kony by Chris Coons....

Sen. Chris Coons: In Pursuit of Joseph Kony

When I first heard about this video, I was really suspicious of the intention of the people behind it. I immediately thought it was some type of extortion.... raise money by guilting the public over this tragic situation in Uganda. I've since learned from an interview with the creators, that they do not want money..... supposedly.

Thats why i'm apathetic. The guy is wanted but is available for interview. Sounds suspicious

I was troubled by the interview of the guy behind this video on the Today Show this morning. Maybe he's just a zealot for a good cause but he seemed a little wrapped up in the attention he was getting for his campaign as a social media event and as far as I'm concerned, he couldn't/didn't answer some key questions posed to him.... like responding to the criticisms that only 32% of the funds raised go to helping these children and the latest intelligence that Kony is on the run and in hiding with few people involved anymore. I'd happily be corrected on this but, as I said, his presentation and responses seemed very questionable to me.

Gosh, the more I research this, the more confused I get, there seems to be plenty of good Pro's and good Con's. IF there is any chance that we could save these kids, and I've heard of this before, I think I would like to err on the side of the kids. That's just me, marshmello heart where kids are involved. But, I have to say, with all I have read, here and elsewhere, I am taking this with a grain of salt.

Go ahead and send in your money, or send it to me for the same result.
