I'm a little surprised no one is talking about it here, since it's probably Delaware's biggest sports story of the year. Top 10 ranking. 23-1 record. High expectations in the NCAA Woman's tournament. Probably the best player in the country on the team (Elena Della Donne).
For those that don't really follow, DEL plays in the CAA, which is considered a mid-major conference. It's virtually unheard of for a mid-major school to be ranked in the top 10 amongst the schools from the bigger conferences.
Thoughts?
