What is your gambling habit?

We gamble in different ways every minute of every day. We gamble with our lives due to medical mistakes and experimental medication. We gamble with stock markets and business in general. We gamble in casinos, bingo night at church and online. What is your gambling habit?

I gamble everytime I say soemthing.

My big gamble was getting married. Or maybe it is my wife that took the gamble. Either way, I think I won the jackpot whereas I am sure she will tell ya she's paying for it everyday.

But seriously, my gambles are in the form of driving above the speed limit often, I dabble in the paranormal, I buy the occasional scratch off lottery tickets and powerball tickets, I will sometimes skip stopping at a gas station in hopes that the next one might be a few cents cheaper, I wait until daylight savings to change the batteries in my smoke detector even if the batteries die before then, I don't cover my outdoor plants when the threat of frost could kill them, I speak up and say things all the time even if it might earn me an ass kicking, I will occasionally talk on the phone while driving or see who texted me. My list could go on and on.

I think we all have area where we gamble. Ultimately, isn't everything we do a gamble? I took a gamble responding here what my gambling habits are didn't I?

I'm not much into gambling. However when Powerball or MegaMillion get over a $100million I have to go for it. I know the odds BUT somebody is going to win and it can't be me if I don't play.

I don't gamble, I have nothing against it, I just want a sparklie bauble for my money rather than waste it on perhaps winning. I took a gamble on my husband, in hindsight anyhow, but it all worked out just like I thought it would so I guess it wasn't much of a gamble after all. I believed everything he told me, he said he would be successful and we would have a great life. He is, we do.

I gamble everyday with damn near everything i do. i have a spontaneous personality.

Life isn't fun if you don't take a risk every now and then. I just don't like gambling with money in a casino or lottery. I gamble with the family at functions, but it's usually a few bucks i would have burned up anyways.

I'm in Atlantic City a few times a month. I've had to sit in those casinos on occasion and every time it boggles my mind why anyone would go there. I've never understood it. Maybe it's just AC... but everyone looks like they are close to death with expressionless, zombified stares. No one actually looks like they are having fun.... just the opposite actually.

I was comped a lump some once so I sat at a machine and pressed some buttons.... I had to walk away before I could blow through it all. I'm total ADHD so sitting still and staring at a noisy machine is torture even if there was a chance I could win something.

However, I do take risks with my life but I think that's very different than "gambling".

When the Lottery goes over 100 million, they do a pool at work. Everyone throws in 5 bucks (ten now. since ticket price went up). I have to play because I don't want to be the one that comes to work if they hit.
No gambling, with money anyway, besides that.

I couldn't agree more! First time I was in a casino was in the Bahamas and while it was pretty inside, NO ONE looked like they were having fun. I was just bored.

Whenever we go to AC, we take $20 a piece with us. With the sole intention of losing it no matter what. We go to the penny slots, and it we are feeling risky, the nickels. One at a time, so it drags it out. When we are out, we are out. If we stop playing before we run out, we consider it a win! Hey if I'm going to lose, I may as well lose, make it last.
