    Re: Super Bowl 46 Chat

The game was good enough. Even though i dont like either team. I didn't want to hear the giants fans today..

Anyways it was a good enough excuse for my family to drink on a sunday night. So we all had a ball together.

Is my family the only one in this country that didn't watch the SB? No interest at all, as far as the comercials go, I can see them on YouTube instead of sitting through a boring FB game. No opinion on Madonna, she's been lips syncing for years.

I can't remember the last time I actually watched a Super Bowl halftime show. It was no different this year And no, the chance of a Madonna nip slip had no bearing on me watching as well.

I hear ya-- to each his own......but there's at least one commercial that got a lot of buzz that ya won't be able to see on YouTube.

I wasn't really interested in the game....didn't particularily like Madonna's performance or the commercials....the one shining star in the entire night was the Matthew Broderick Honda commercial...that was a RIOT!

America is an idea, but it's an idea that brings with it some baggage, like power brings responsibility. It's an idea that brings with it equality, but equality even though it's the highest calling, is the hardest to reach. The idea that anything is possible, that's one of the reasons why I'm a fan of America. - Bono, Commencement University of Pennsylvania May 17, 2004

I must have missed the Audi one, I don't recall it at all and I'm a huge Audi fan.

No... I've never seen a Superbowl Game ever. I never got into NFL football.... it's "soccer" to me and always will be. (I can watch college now and then (since I used to go to the PSU, UMASS & WVU games).

It's actually the best night to hit the movies and enjoy having the entire place to yourself.

Madonna has always been more of a magician than a musician. Her shock and awe show distracts from her lack of singing and inability to play instruments. There is a reason why she dresses and dances the way she does... distraction. Unfortunately, Madonna's technique paved a path for other talentless women to make it *Britney*. It's become somewhat expected now which I think is why the genuinely talented Lady Gaga mocks it with the ridiculousness.

It was the vampire one, think it was early in the game, maybe right before the game.

Thanks, I went online to see it, no wonder I didn't remember it! It hardly showed the car. I LOVE the LED lights! Looks like the 2012 S5 though, really a neat car. ( It really does go vrooom, vroom!)

Yeah it is probably going to be Wifey's next car, once we decide to buy one, not the S5 although it would be sweet, I know she really wants it though. Think I am OK with an A4, and maybe, a very small maybe on an A5 Coupe. I know she really really likes the Coupe. Went to the Auto Show Saturday, and the A4 is pretty nice, really like it. Although for me I would want the Q5, sat in the Q7 and that is a no go even for a short guy like me. There is like no head room in that thing, and yeah I even messed with the seat. She loves the LED's as well. Tried convincing her to just get a VW since, they are practically the same thing, but a little cheaper, and she is not going for it. I keep pushing for the A3, but I realized Saturday that the A3, is just like the VW GTI now, and I know she ain't going for that.

Well, they are all great. I had an A4-Quattro Convertable, we recently traded it in on the '12 S5 Quattro for my hubby, I drive the '11 Q5 which I really love, drives like the A4 but with so much more room. He has a 911 and drives the S5 more! That says something. BUT - in my dreams, I am definitely driving the Spyder, for sure! If you are going to dream, DREAM BIG!
