My-oh-my, but this place is a hidden gem (13th & Washington, park for free in the corner lot across from Wilm Hospital). The wine list is a Top 50 in the U.S., according to OpenTable.com. And even though 450+ selections seemed daunting, their waitstaff is top notch: knowledgeable and friendly... able to recommend the perfect pairings. We always just leave it to them, and they do far better than we could (and we know a little something about wine)!

The food is truly world-class. We had the whole fish (divine!) and pork belly (divine-er!), and the wine recommendations were dead on. Definitely get the artisan cheese plate to start with a paired bottle. If your appetite is light, go for 2 or 3 of the grazing dishes to share, and let the gastronomical delights begin! They change the menu regularly, so it's always a surprise.

Their wine-by-the-glass menu is thoroughly impressive, too (at many places, it's not). And we go for happy hour where you can get a flight of 3 featured wines for $3 each. Trust me, add the cheese plate or the Duck Confit Wontons!

The best part is you can spend $50 for two or $150; and, either way, have a truly spectacular experience with outstanding food and (very) stiff cocktails or superb wine.

Definitely make reservations, though. We were there on a Tuesday night 2 weeks ago, and the place was hopping... even the bar.
