et it now be said that, when it comes to expressing disapproval of the incumbent president of the United States, Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas did it with much more class - and, dare I say it, respect - than did Jan Brewer, the half-cracked yahoo governor of Arizona. Thomas just declined to show up for a photo-op. Brewer, last seen drifting off into the Phantom Zone at the beginning of a debate - and try to ignore her being called a "gladiator" by Diane Sawyer, a/k/a Nixon's Last Sucker - decided to create a photo-op of her own by jabbing (and jabbering) at the president as he arrived in Phoenix late Wednesday. The president engaged her for a while and then politely walked on, as we all try to do when confronted by crazy people at places like airports and bus terminals.
Our President doesn't always get the message out clearly enough on some of his best policies, but he is a class act. You can't take that away from him.

I think the profound problems dumped on the border states arising from the administration's explicit policy to refuse to enforce our laws is at the root of the problem. The disgraceful violation of the oaths of office by Obama, Napolitano and Holder have endangered our citizens and made a mockery of our foundational principle that we are a "nation of laws".

I think that extraordinary thumbing of its nose at our laws which inflicts dire and dangerous conditions on our citizens is an inexcusable and ill-advised abuse of power which mightily trumps any worry about a runway spat, especially when reports indicate that it was prompted by rude and dismissive Obama behavior before that day as reported in Brewer's book and at the moment of the verbal exchange when Obama took the opportunity to complain about that reportage.

Gee, tell us how you really feel!

A picture can say a 1000 words, or be totally misleading, it depends on your agenda sometimes. According to what Gov. Brewer said, Obama attacked her for something that was written in her book. (Sending sales of that book through the roof!) See, to my mind, a real leader of the United States, upon being greeted by the Gov. of a state he's campaigning in, would have been polite, thanked her for her welcome and gone about his business. Obama is apparently just a little thin skinned, a trait we have seen before.

Gov. Brewer ( Would you by any chance have called a Gov. HARRY Brewer a nitwit BTW?) has a legitimate complaint, the borders are not being guarded, they have a real problem and the President of the United States would rather sue Arizona and other states for taking the problem into their own hands than try to find a solution. It's a problem and it needs to be dealt with not used for political purposes.
