No, but my grandparents lived in that area after they got married. I spent a few summers and many weekends visiting them.

My entire life is an Italian Festival....24/7/365.... why would I need the I-Fest?

The only thing good about the I-Fest is the people watching.... because that sauce and cheese served on cardboard is not pizza.

Last time I went was in '94 when Steph was 2. Crowds sucked big time.

It was more fun when I was a teenager. My brother-in-law used to play bass for Anheuser so we got "special" treatment. Better parking, etc.

Main Street, in the Newark Co-op parking lot. My husband and I will be there, at a small stand selling free-range eggs, tomato and pepper plants, and herbs.

It's an open-air farmer's market in the parking lot of the Co-op, so if it is a dog that is people- and other-animal-friendly, yes they can come.

(I'm a Co-op member and love the market when I can get out to it.)

Dogs? Sure! There's several that come with their humans to the market now and then.

    Darnit!

My dog is people friendly as long as people ignore him.. unfortunately, with his stirking, exotic good looks, people tend not to do that. lol.

I know some people don't like the crowds, or the $5 admission and all, but we are going Saturday, it would be really cool if we could see some of you all up there......

    anybody?

    Ryan Cormiers review
delawareonline | Wilmington Blogs:Second Helpings | The News Journal

good news to think there are no (or less) "punks" giving people the "stink-eye" because of the $5 cover

    Re: St. Anthony’s Italian Festival

That Ryan Cormier sure does get around.

I'll wager it was more the heat than the $5 cover that kept the crowds and "riff-raff" away last night.
