As a banker, I can understand why employers don't want to hire smokers, drinkers, the overweight, the weekend warriors and for that matter, women of child bearing age....because each member of those groups cost the company more money and let's be honest....someone has to look after the bottom line. However, as a human being, I would never support a company refusing to hire smokers...just like I would never support a company refusing to hire any of the other above groups. Even bankers have to realize sometimes there are some things more important than money.
