Detectives arrest subject involved in two pizza delivery robberies
New Castle County Police have arrested Troy Williamson, a 17 year-old male who resides in the unit block of Persimmon Drive in the community of Sylvan Park in Bear. He has been linked to two pizza delivery robberies that occurred last month.
During the course of the investigations, detectives conducted numerous interviews and obtained valuable information with help from the Delaware State Police, which assisted them with identifying Troy Williamson, as the suspect involved in the crimes.
One robbery occurred on Sunday night, October 16, as the driver was delivering an order to a home in the 200 block of North Antlers Lane in the community of the Fox Run Townhouses. The second robbery took place on Thursday night, October 20, as the driver was delivering an order to a home in the 600 block of Corsica Avenue in the community of the Pine Woods Townhouses.
On Thursday, November 3, detectives executed a search warrant at his home and evidence was discovered inside the residence that helped to link him to the crimes.
Troy Williamson was charged with the following crimes: Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony (Two Counts) and Robbery in the First Degree (Two Counts). He was arraigned and committed to the New Castle County Juvenile Detention Center after failing to post $20,000 cash bail.
