8 Hospitalized After Car Crashes Into School Bus In Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Del. - Police were on scene Thursday afternoon for a school bus accident in Georgetown.
The crash happened just after 3 p.m. on West New Market street. Police tell us the driver of the car failed to stop at a red light, and crashed into the side of the bus. Seven children from Georgetown Elementary were transported to the hospital for minor injuries, including the bus driver. The road was temporarily closed. No word yet on what caused the crash.
