There's your problems right there.
One, headbutting is for sheep, not people. If they insist, they should wear helmets.
Two, there is no way a four-way division of ownership will ever work. One or two of them should buy the others out. If it's down to two from four, they had better be on the same page, or one should buy the other out as well.

Chef Irvine made the owners help in the back and with serving. The food took 45 minutes to come out, which was "embarassing" one owner said. Apparently the cooks are taking forever to make the food....

wow. That was a big change for the owners and the restaurant. A new 30-minute or it's free deal for lunch? Fast service? And the owners are working as a team now.
I might have to check the place out. I've driven past it countless times. I'm not so sure it's in a great visible location, though. At first I thought it was in a strip mall, but it's in its own building I think. Wow.

I was there during the taping but missed the first half to see if they got me on camera, recording the 1a-2a repeat. They completely ruined the menu for the show. After the backlash they put many of the favorite items and specials back onto the menu due to losing so many customers.

didn't we have a TalkDelaware gathering there once?

Did the serving time improve? I've heard plenty people complain about how long it takes the food to come out there. I haven't been there since it became Scrimmages but I did enjoy the Cactus... the Mexican restaurant that was there before Scrimmages.
My young neighbors go there all the time but never for food, they go for the underage drinking scene downstairs. Apparently, with Widener dorms next door, they don't bother carding since most of the drinkers can walk back to their rooms. There is also a Karaoke/drinking scene downstairs on some nights as well. I guess they didn't remodel the downstairs?
There's a downstairs, too???![]()

I know there are two levels, I'm not sure if there is another level further down too. There are bars at both levels, though they're only separated by a few steps, with each level even having different drinks (I couldn't get my Sam Adams from the top one, had to go to the bottom one to order).
I've been there a couple times in the last few weeks since we went there after our softball games on some nights. I didn't notice anything bad at all with the food, in fact, the serving time was quite fast actually. And the stuff I tried was good. In particular, I loved their jerk chicken tenders which I never had anywhere else before so they were quite unique to me.

I went here the other day while in town for business. I can't believe food network did a makeover!!! The place was chincy and the food was BAD! I was shocked when the fugly waitress told methey just had a makeover. I shield have suggesteda makeover for her! Burger was...meh. Tasted like one you get at a ballpark where they par cook it and then reheat on the BBQ. My associate had some mahi mahi which he said was good. Qe shared some nasty dip which he ordered while i was relieving myself. Needless to say I needed to use the restroom again after my meal.
I will not return.
America is an idea, but it's an idea that brings with it some baggage, like power brings responsibility. It's an idea that brings with it equality, but equality even though it's the highest calling, is the hardest to reach. The idea that anything is possible, that's one of the reasons why I'm a fan of America. - Bono, Commencement University of Pennsylvania May 17, 2004

If you passed the DoubleTree Hotel then you've gone too far. You can always try RubyTuesdays (frosted mugs of beer) or the more upscale Cafe Riveria for your more ritzy dates used to class and elegance in dining)
@hockey, I haven't been up to Scrimmages in years but some things don't change --still a rowdy, friendly college hang-out. I remember that the service was slow ,but the waitresses and bartenders were courteous, understanding, and merrily tried their best to make you comfortable and enjoy your visit. Very friendly staff gets an A+ .
