    Gun Buy Back Program

Please call your local senate , rep ect. This is a good program. There are lots of Junk guns in law abiding citizens hands, that are not worth chit. With this program, it will stimulate the economy by giving good money for worthless junk, so more good working firearms can be purchased by law abiding citizens. I'm looking forward to getting rid of a old 6 shots that is unsafe and getting my down payment for my next gun, via the rest of you taxpayers. i believe this law has passed one hurdle, and is in transit to the next group of politicians.. Call today and get it passed!

    Thanks

Exclamation Re: Gun Buy Back Program

It's already passed the Senate, 14-7. It's nonsense, and it will be nonsense when it passes the House too. If there's an upside at all it's not mandatory that Police Agencies participate.

See, where I come from, us crazy liberals use our own money to arm ourselves. We save the "socialism" for silly things like feeding and healing people.

I call bullshit. You can't be a fervent supporter of the Bill of Rights, and also support the 2nd Amendment.

I'm sorry, I got that backwards. You CAN be a fervent supporter of the 2nd Amendment, but also believe that the other Amendments that deal with privacy and keeping government out of our lives are bullshit, and that the ACLU is communist for defending our Constitutional rights.

    My bad.

/We really don't need rights beyond the right to bear arms. If you're not guilty, you have nothing to worry about.

I got guns...and some are worthless chit...but they're worth more on the free market then they would be in a "buy back" situation. Should I be a good citizen or go for the cash?

I wouldn't be crazy enough to show up to a police station with any type of arms on me.

    Re: Gun Buy Back Program

I cringe at the buy back program idea. Not for the nature of my business, but thinking of the historical pieces that will be destroyed because the owner or officers accepting them have no idea what they are handling before they are sent off to become a new manhole cover.
