Truth is much stranger than fiction.
A police offer - who has a last name "Barks" - went to handle an issue, was fearful of a Chihuahua and shot it.
Not once, not twice - but 3 times.

I like the line... This Officer Barks was worse than dogs bite.
Røbb

Barks, bites and guns Equals one 3 times dead Chihuahua
Officer Barks said
- your dog barks at me and I'll shoot her!
or
Barks maybe was bitten - bites back with gun!
or
Brave Chihuahua takes 3 bullets from Barks[ing] officer.
Or
Dangerous Chihuahua eats lead and is now dead.
or
Shooting Chihuahua 3 times - officer is forced to resign;
was it too much brute force - for bullet 1 or bullet 2 or bullet 3?
- or
a Super breed Chihuahua - requires 3 bullets from Barks Officer.
and the question
If it takes 3 bullets to put down a Chihuahua - are your bullets too small?
Just shoot me!

Man is charged with crime for Barking at Police Dog;
This story by Jonathan Turley is enjoyable - to say the least.

Turley reports;
Officer Bradley Walker reported that he was investigating a car crash at a pub when he heard his police dog barking uncontrollably and found Stephens barking and hissing at the animal.
Stephens’ defense was golden: the dog started it.
Even as a misdemeanor, I fail to see the crime here. Stephens should have been scolded as a
“bad human” and sent on his way without a treat
