Do any of you know of a decent plumber that does not charge an arm and a leg? (New Castle area).
I have a leak in a drainage connection that runs up the wall in my kitchen.

Try this guy, Evert J.Christensen Registered Master Plumber Delaware, Delaware county and S Philly 302-475-9249 /610-532-6187 nice guy.
Thanks. I am tackling the problem myself now. I had a hard time working out a visit from a plumber since I live alone and work late into the day.
Thanks to my tackling the problem myself I have been without a kitchen for a week since I had to take out my kitchen sink and cabinet. I also have to remove my counter-top. When I cut open the wall I found that the galvanized pipe became broke at the "Tee" where my kitchen sink drain and auxiliary pipe runs up and out through the roof.
I just mended the pipe with a rubber coupling. Now I just have to sweat a few copper pipes and put everything back... Sigh.....

You could get some SharkBite Push-Fit Products | Cash Acme | Cut. Push. Done.
No need to sweat pipes
I only wish that sharkbite pushlock was an option. But I am lucky that this pipe only is there to allow air into the drainage system to allow for proper drainage. I am sure the fix I put in place will last over 50 years or until I build an addition onto the house and move the kitchen.

Good luck with all that. It sounds like a big job. It's good you know how to do the work yourself; I don't know of any plumbers who don't charge an arm & a leg.
Sounds like a big job. My props to you to tackling it!
Paul, in the future I do plumbing and electrical work on the side, and I dont charge an arm and a leg.....
