Beau- you really are a troll aint ya? You just cant leave the election out of anything can you? I mean I get it, its a song, its your song of the day...I like the way you just slid it in there, shows you have done this kinda trashy, underhanded lowlife thing before

There isn't enough Oxycontin in the world to numb the pain of talking to an organically-certified ignoramus like you.

    max,
You just cant leave the election out of anything can you?
Do you and EpicWin need a mirror? I'd be happy to oblige. Music appreciation ought to be carefree and open ; I don't object to any of your choices now do I? I don't even believe that I objected to you and EpicWin doing exactly the same thing in the 'Nature and Environment ' thread.

Don't be hypocrites ,buddies; it is beneath your better natures and reason.

Thank you ,max. My last Song of the Day post was by local balladeer ,Vic Sadot. Vic is a longtime regular denizen of Newark, Delaware--sang in the townie coffeehouses and Rathskellar, volunteer and poet, helper of the poor, disabled, aging veteran, and student, he also marched in peaceful midnight candlelight vigils against the war on the University Mall. Vic is an America Firster at heart; anti-imperialist and anti-Marxist, a kind of citizen who believes love America or leave us the fuck alone(and we'll do our best to return the favor) Our national anthem doesn't have the words ' from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli'; ours include the words, 'O beautiful our spacious skies, For amber waves of grain, For purple mountain majesties' . We have no business in the world where we don't belong or need to be. Like old John Adams , 'America does not go in search of monsters to slay. ' Let the other world powers play their dirty Realpolitik on their own --we are a new nation founded on the extraordinary principles of self-actualization and democratic community.

Randy Newman keeps showing us why he's one of America's best songwriters. "I'm Dreaming" is amazing! I'm listening carefully to the lyrics and loving it.

I heard Black Rebel Motorcycle Club out in Portland a few years ago when I got off a ship for vacation. I hope bands like Kings of Leon , Keane, are taking notes!
