This song is from one of the best soundtracks I've heard in a long while.

To be sure, Scott McKenzie will be welcomed in the heavenly choir with flowers in his hair and a tambourine gently slapping his thigh keeping the angelic beat. R.I. P Scott. "There Stands The Glass" http://youtu.be/irJ9o6ptFvU

Ok... this song gets, annoyingly, stuck in my head, but this version of the video amuses me.

America is an idea, but it's an idea that brings with it some baggage, like power brings responsibility. It's an idea that brings with it equality, but equality even though it's the highest calling, is the hardest to reach. The idea that anything is possible, that's one of the reasons why I'm a fan of America. - Bono, Commencement University of Pennsylvania May 17, 2004

I have to add this timeless classic song from Fairport Convention with Sandy Denny as lead vocals: "Who Knows Where The Time Goes" Sandy Denny was , in my humble estimation , the greatest female vocalist of that or any era. It was tragic that her life was cut off so short in 1978.

    Re: Song(s) of the Day

I had to take a break from the Romney shambles today. Romney shot himself in the foot again. He was caught on tape telling a group of wealthy donors at a political campaign dinner that 47% of Americans were moochers and losers and it wasn't his job to care about them if elected President. Good luck getting that job , Mitt. So, I listened to this parody based on One Direction's hit song, "What Makes You Beautiful"
