Pot hole alert/Or worst RR Crossings.

The worst RR crossing is on RT 71 In Kirkwood. Take it very slow. Then there's the one on Rt 9 along side of the old Amoco Chemical Plant. Most people just go in the shoulder to get around it.

there is a nasty bump on 95 in the middle right hand lane about in the middle of the rt 1 off ramp (still on the main i95 roadway, just that is about where it is) heading south. steer clear.

Is that the one that is by Howell School Road? Could you please define this, as we know it as Bear. If that is the one you are referring to, it is normally not that bad, but lately it seems to be getting worse and worse by the day.

The one on Rt. 9, was going to say that one too, but you beat me to it. I see they have been fixing the tracks a bit, so I am wondering if they are going to eventually fix the crossing. The ones that annoy me, are the people who need to stop to go over the actual tracks on the road, instead of just going to the shoulder to cross them.

Really, we live right near there, and have always known it as Bear, and have never heard it be called Kirkwood. Huh, good to know I guess. But then again our pizza shop is in Bear too, but there is a sign right near it that says Red Lion. So I guess that is in Red Lion. Wow, so Delaware really is sort of like Jersey...lol I suppose that is why the Ice Cream thing across form the Ocean Mart is called "Kirkwood Creamery", just thought that was what the felt like calling it. Always though Kirkwood was in the area of Kirkwood highway. Speaking of that if it is called Kirkwood, then why does Kirkwood highway not come close to it? hmmmm

I wonder where the sign is for it being called Kirkwood, where is the cut off? Is there another place around us that is called something different? Guess everyone just says Bear as to not confuse the others. My mind is going crazy right now with questions, I need to talk to Wifey about this! Why was I never told of these things? These are things that I think I should know since I live here now. I could potentially confuse the heck out of someone now knowing this new information...Thanks! This is going to be fun.
