Suggestion: Posting news articles

I don't know if I am one to start a thread with a news link and nothing more, I may have. I know I did on the lemonade stand thread only because I thought it was an interesting and somewhat relevant connection to the whole lemonade stand thing. I didn't post anything about the news article because, while it was related to lemonade stands, my commenting on it could have hijacked the thread in a whole new direction.

That being said, really who gives a shit? There are many news stories I miss and I'll catch them on here. There are many news links posted here that cause me to say to myself, "Oh yeah, I've read that before...." nothing more. IMHO if someone posts a link to a news story with nothing else under it, it may be to start an open discussion on an interesting topic. That person may not have feelings one way or another, however they want to see what everyone else's take on it is.
So, at the risk of repeating what's been said already, if you're not interested don't click on the link, don't respond on the thread.

There have been times when I'm at work and read a news article then wonder what my TD posse will think about it.
The majority of the time it's on here when I get home. Very cool.

As for me TD gets the scoop faster than most sites do , we posted about MJ dying before the major news stations,some people should stop picking apart each thread and to those who post news and links post about whatever you want, bet at least one person on the site would find it interesting if not more..some people are just miserable in life and like to stir the pot, my advice GW get a hobby or get a xannax with a chaser!
