WILMINGTON — A 15-year-old Delaware boy has been arrested for robbing a bank in Claymont, Del.

Delaware state troopers arrested the teen Friday in Wilmington after one trooper recognized him from prior shoplifting investigations.
The bank robbery occurred Wednesday afternoon at a bank located inside a Super Fresh grocery store. Police say the teen handed a bank teller a note demanding cash but did not display any weapons. The teller gave the teen an undisclosed amount of money, according to police, and he fled the bank.

The youth has been charged with robbery and is being held at the New Castle County Juvenile Detention Center.
