Baby Hitler Parents Lose Custody Of Kids

TRENTON, N.J. - A New Jersey appeals court says a couple who named one of their children after Adolf Hitler should not regain custody of their three children.

Heath and Deborah Campbell's three small children were removed from their home in Philipsburg by the state in January 2009.

The family drew attention after ShopRite refused to decorate a birthday cake for their son, Adolf Hitler Campbell. Adolf and siblings JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie have been in foster care since then.

The appeals court ruled Thursday that sufficient evidence of abuse or neglect existed because of domestic violence in the home.

The court sent the case back to family court for further reconsideration.

A gag order remains in place and the parties refused to discuss the decision.

In January 2009, the Campbells told us Adolf Hitler Campbell is just like any other 3-year old boy.

"It's not like he's' growing up to be a killer or nothing like that," said mother Deborah Campbell.

"I went to just to get a cake... it was a circus of racism," said Heath Campbell, little Adolph's dad.

At the time Heath and Deborah Campbell acknowledge the hate behind their children's names. But say that was not their intention.
So why the names?

"This is America, they say it's free, you have the right to name your child whatever you want to name your child, no matter what," Heath Campbell said. read more

There is NO way those kids were removed just because of their names. It's not easy to have children taken away from biological parents.

There is NO way those kids were removed just because of their names. It's not easy to have children taken away from biological parents.

Bingo! The news article reported as much, too.

The names may have been the trigger that drew attention to the family. But, if the names were the only thing they had, there is no way a court removes children from their biological parents, no matter how despicable the names given to the children.

But, once they began an investigation and found evidence of domestic violence, the dominoes started to fall. I'm not even saying the domestic violence, itself, rose to the level of child-removal--although it probably did. But, combine a sufficient level of domestic violence with the stupidity of the given names, and you have all the state needed to do what they did.

its very easy if you want to do it, I have seen the state system from the inside and its rife with bullshit and personal agendas......I am a Jew and I have a problem with this(them taking the kids), I would like to see the gag order lifted and see what the state claims is a less then perfect environment....Bet they get the kids back. I bet this issue boils down to some stupid person who thinks those names are not good for the kids.....
