DELDOT pisses me off.....don't start construction on a piece of highway going over top of I95 until you finish the first one!!!!! I took 273 today to avoid the HELL that is Rte 1 and I95.....ok, now they are doing construction at 273 and 95. What the hell kinda sense that does that make? Whoever made that decision should be fired.

I got stuck there this morning, too, as I work right on 273 and Chapman Road near the 95 on-ramps. F-ing ridiculous. There is absolutely no way for me to go to work where I'm not screwed by traffic.

Couldn't wait for the school year to end to get a break with morning traffic. Pfft.

We have an 8' by 2' kids pool on the deck. Holds about 500 gallons of water. I promised the kids I'd get in there with them and put their kiddie slide in it to use as a water slide. They've done this before. They frickin' love it.

Anyway, I get my trunks on to get in with them. I'm trying to get some quality play time in with my kids before the Phils come on at 4. Kids have been looking forward to this all day.

I go to get in the pool, and my almost 3 year old son has shit in it. Yank the kids out. Now I gotta drain and clean and refill this pool, which I just did 2 days ago. And on top of that, I have 2 kids who are in absolute hysterics that there's no more pool today. You truly would not believe the shrieking that's been going on. I don't think I cried this hard when my father died.
