Central AC Issues

Pam, I have an LG portable AC unit that I bought like 3 years ago and it works great. It is supposed to self empty through the exhaust but sometimes on humid days it fills up and then I have to empty it which sucks. Other than that it works awesome.

I bought this new from Home Depot. I've had it plugged into crappy electrical system at my old apt (converted farm house) and it only tripped the breaker when I had it on and vacuumed at the same time.

I am so sick of AC's.

We have windows that open side to side in the bedroom so after years of having no ac in there we decided to buy one of those portable ac's

First one we got a few weeks ago just blew hot air so we took it back to the store.

We get the other one hooked up and it keeps blowing the bedroom breaker. This one is a 14,000 BTU and I guess the bedroom plugs do not have enough power for it.

I figured the plugs would. The upstairs was build in 1983 I think.

Not sure I want to try another one. Tired of bringing them home and having them crap out on us.

run a new line to the AC unit.
