The Blindside was a good one out of the choices.

Re: Which was your favorite film from 2009?

Voted for District 9, my favorite of last year and the only one I have seen from the choices.

I think The Hurt Locker probably will win, and if it does, would seem to be well deserved.

Hockey, which one are you voting for?

I've only seen The Blind Side and I loved it. But - I am generally biased towards sports movies.

I've only seen two of those movies listed, so I don't feel right in voting.

Re: Which was your favorite film from 2009?

Inglorious basterds was a good flick. Most def on my list. Avatar was good, but the 3d actually made it a good flick. I wouldn't have put it on the list without the 3d. I liked District 9. It was drug out though. That movie could have been an hour and a half.

I think Precious got my vote though. That girl had it bad all the way around. I mean real bad..

I'm not a drama person, but that one flick is etched in my head.

I L.O.V.E. Inglourious Basterds. Wow. Love it. It gets my vote.

The Hurt Locker was very good also.

I have "A Serious Man" on my counter (ooooh, that sounds fun), but haven't watched it yet.

Up. Meh. cute and whatnot. Not best picture.

I know Avatar is supposed to be good and all, but I have ZERO interest in watching it. Just not a sci-fi person, though.

I'm really looking forward to watching "up in the air" ....mmmmmm....cloooooooney

Fairly OddParents was pretty good. Spongebob was funny. Imagination Movers sucked. Mickey Mouse FunHouse was redundant. Caillou was horrible.

Nina from Sprout Goodnight Show should win best actress. She's dreamy.

God, no wonder all of your subtext eludes me.

Oh... I didn't see very many on that list. Actually, I only saw Avatar and Up. I'm really hearing amazing things about "Up In The Air" though so I'm thinking that may win. There's a lot of hype for Avatar but also a lot of controversy so I'm thinking it may not win anything. The Hurt Locker has a big buzz around that as well. I hate war movies so I may not be seeing that. I get too upset and always walk away from war movies hating on men.... like it's all a big testosterone problem.

Honestly.... I posted this thread and the "where do you want to live" thread this morning in an attempt to wake TD up a bit. I'm good at pilfering popular thread topics from other sites that I think you all might enjoy. I'm shameless.

What about Jungle Junction? The music was ok... also, I nominate Ferb for best supporting actor.

Maybe, but don't you think that if someone has to be that happy and friendly for work would be a real b!tch?
