Xbox all the way!
PS3 Rules!
Other system for me (wii, Game Cube, etc)
No system here... my gaming happens on my computer.
I am still in my infancy with the PS3 and the Xbox. I think both systems are pretty nice but when it comes to online presence I think the PlayStation Home (Online) has more to offer the online user. Like this past weekend I was hanging out in the Central Plaza, struck up a conversation with another person there. We went to the bowling alley and bowled a few games. Then we explored PlayStation Home and collected some free swag for our avatars and played a few more games together.
But xbox can't be beat with their shared game experience. (So I am told).
I think the PlayStation has an easier menu system to navigate. As an example.. I was on the Xbox and saw Rougle online. Then I saw that he was using Netflix, then I saw what NetFlix title he was watching. I wanted to go and change my setting so that what I watched and played was not made public and it took me 1/2 hour and the use of google & youtube searches to find out how to navigate the menu system to find the right place to go to change the settings.
As it stands right now, if I am going to buy a game to play, I will look for the game title to be played on my PS3 before I buy it for the xbox. That may change over time as I become more comfortable with the Xbox.

I've had both for 2 or 3 years now. I love the Playstation's approach to media a lot better. It's easier for me to use my home network to watch stuff. Netflix is built in. (Finally) Granted that PS3 has fewer people on it. The online gaming experience lacks what 360 has. It's simpler to arrange online gaming on 360. Party chat and cross game chatting helps a lot. That's something PS3 never could do.
The Xbox does have a learning curve when it comes to the settings. They arent conveniently placed to use. I know where everything is now, but starting off is a hassle. PS3 is pretty much: just make an account and play. That's if you don't care for it's premium memberships, and really don't care for playing online.

the PSN has more users then xbox live and ps3 games have a party chat
the online gaming experience is a hell of a lot better on the ps3 most 1st party games on ps3 are dedicated servers which have no lag hence the big 128 vs 128 of mag or 30 vs 30 in resistance 2 or even 16 vs 16 in killzone or making your own game in little big planet for others to play online which is something the xbox will never be able to do
with steam coming in march to the psn live won't stand a chance
Settings are easy, well at least for me they are. That could be that I had xbox, and got the 360 day of release. So I am a bit more versed with it.
Not that I want to get into this never ending fan boy debate again. BUT, PSN may have more users (only because it is FREE), but when it comes to finding games online, they have few and far between compared to 360. I can hop onto any game with the 360 that I own, and it will have plenty of people on for me to play matchmaking, without having to wait FOREVER! Believe me, I have experienced PSN online, with a game that was only out for a month or so, and could barely get a game going, and when it finally did, it was NOTHING but LAG.
Don't know where you see that at, but OK.
Now onto your statement about LBP, creating something so others can play it online. Um, anyone here ever heard of a game called Halo? Other games started to take on what Bungie was, and has been doing. IE, Black Ops, with having a File Share now. Halo 3 had, theater, and File Share from jump street. Not sure how Black Ops works, but in H3 you could save the clip you wanted out of a game, and then just upload that to your File Share. Game Types, Game Variants, Pics, etc. Then they came out with Rendering, where all I had to do was get Bungie Pro, and I could Render anything from my File Share and post it wherever I wanted to. Please feel free to look up Bungie Rendering in the search box above, to see some of my clips. Now who has done that? Yes I do know that a lot of my comparisons are aways to Halo, but they seem to put things out, that other people want, and then the other gaming companies decide to follow suit. So apparently they MUST be doing something right, no matter how much you hate the game.

YOU LOSE, GOOD DAY SIR!
Now I have a quick question, have you ever personally owned a 360 Zap?
It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years......
i never have a hard time finding a game and if it's on a dedicated server there is no lag
umm file sharing is not the same as actually creating a game and having other people play it before media molecule was bought by sony or approached the concept to sony they went to microsoft with little big planet and microsoft said no because of the creating and sharing this isn't recording video this is actually making a game lol
do i own a 360 no but i was playing reach last friday night at a friends i don't hate the game but i think it's very easy compared to the fps's of the ps3 that's why i don't like it so when was the last time you played the ps3 2007?? that explains why all of your arguments are from 07 and don't make sense
so you lose good day![]()
OK sorry it seems I may have gotten a little wrapped up in File Share and I vaguely remember my Wife harassing me about going somewhere that I forgot to say something. My BOLD part is what this is going to touch on, and why I went the File Share route sorry.
In Forge you were able to create whatever you wanted to and upload it to your File Share, for the whole world to enjoy your creation. There was a Double XP playlist in H3 a few times that was 100% Community Created Maps, and Game Types. Bungie basically picked about 15 great maps, and put them in. In Reach they made Community Slayer a permanent playlist, to experience what others are creating in Forge 2.0, called that because it has evolved way beyond what you could do in H3. Ask your 360 friends about it, they will only confirm what I just typed.
No the last time I played a PS3 is around 2009, give or take, about a year or so after I bought it. I did not buy it on Release Date, and the only reason why I bought it was for the Blu-Ray. I just figured I would get a few games for it, only so it got used a little more, and I could play some games with a friend of mine that only played PS3.
My reason for asking about you about owning a 360 is solely based on, you being awfully critical of something you only play once in a while.
So once again, based on my addition of the File Share rant.
YOU LOSE, GOOD DAY SIR!
You get that for the try though!
It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years......
Next time you play, tell him to go into Community Slayer, that is nothing but Maps that the Community has created. Some pretty nice ones, some not so much, well at least that is what I think. Or you could have him go into Forge and you can play around in there, just saying...lol
The only thing I can even remotely look forward to is Gears 3, and that is it. Other then maybe some Kinect games. The next Bungie IP, is going to be Multi-Plat, so no big draw there. Microsoft better do something, and quick, if they want to keep people. Gears 3 is not that big of a draw for the 360 crowd. It has a decent fan base, but not big enough to keep 360 afloat. Let alone this is supposed to be the last installment for Gears. then again they said that about H3, and look what that brought upon us....lol
It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years......
I have this "Friend" that wonders if your friends can see the title of the DVD your watching when you are logged onto the PS3 or Xbox Live?
Debbie does Dallas see the title of the move? She asked a friend....
I guess they don't want anyone to know they are watching the Sound Of Music.![]()
" When you fight a clown, someone will end up with a pie in the face. "
If they are watching it on the DVD player I don't think it will say anything on the Xbox except that you are watching a movie. IF you are using Netflix it will show the movie name but I think this can be a simple fix in the account settings and changing privacy. Your "friend" can always go offline and then no one can see what they are doing.

I don't want to go off... I mean, "THEY" don't want to go offline to watch naughty stuff.
Thanks for the feedback![]()

I'll ask my friend next time I see her. She has "Fucked Hard 18" on her and her husband's XBox. I'm sure they got some slack from their friends if they can indeed see what's being watched
As a side note, I originally thought the title was "Fucktard 18." Not sure I'd want to see what's going on in a movie with that title![]()
I hope the title is hidden. I know I would not like to be the one to explain that title to the little kids.

I am moving towards the Xbox as my game system of choice. I like that I can play old and new games on the same system. Now when I look for a game to play, I try to find it for the Xbox first.
