I have heard that Natal will release in 2010. The Eye Toy, if I am correct it did not follow your every movement to play a game. That is what Natal is going to do. Facial Expressions, Moving Arms, Legs, you name it, it will copy it and put it into the game. So really it is like a Wii controller, and Eye Toy combined. I personally do not care for it, unless they put out something that may really intrigue me, I just do not see it right now though. As the Six Axis is pretty sweet, I think they could really utilize it a bit more in games.

I also believe that you are wrong with the backwards compatibilty. The 60gb (I think, being as though they released 3 different ones at launch) was the only one that had it at launch. Also, the only reason why they keep selling the PS2 is because they keep making games for it. Microsoft released the 360 then slowly started to stop making games for it. So they could get more sales on the 360. Smart move I say, get more people to buy the new stuff and dump the old stuff. My boss was looking for one, since his son has tons of PS2 games, and that is exactly what he was told, and confirmed when he researched it.

10 year system is also wrong, I actually just read a pretty good article in I think Game Informer a couple of months ago, and it said that every system that is made is actually made to last approximately 4 years. That is when they like to put new systems out. Sony, is just slow and likes to wait to size up the competition and then say look what we have, and it's better then theirs. That is because they waited so they could make it better. Only waited because they knew they could not compete, and had to try and one up the competition.

1. the ps3 is the best blu-ray player period it is the only one to recieve regular updates.
2. the ps3 does upconvert dvd's (look in the settings then turn it on)
Only gets the updates regularly if it is connected to the internet, same thing as a Blu-Ray Player, and the only reason it would be the only one, would be because it is a game system. Mine updates by itself as long as it is connected. Too many updates for my liking though. 360 updates maybe once every couple of months, or maybe I should a couples of times a year.
Upconverting, is not what I was told when shopping for a B-RP. Must have been in an update.
Does the PS3 have BD-Live yet, I am sure it does but had to be in an update.

And, yet Sony has still not outsold the 360.
