I wish there was an In-N-Out Burger in Delaware![]()
5 guys gets an official "Meh" from me. I mean, they don't even offer avocado? How can you claim to have the best burgers when that isn't even an option? Good fries, but seriously, who can eat that many? Maybe the Duggar family.
And I agree about the In-n-Out....even if they don't offer avocado either. They don't need it. ***droool****
There used to be a place in Elsmere called Barbs, very good burger.
I honestly have to say...the best Burger in DE I've had in a while was Kid Shelleen's Bleu Burger. Effin Scrump-diddily-umptious.
Mcglynn's Pub & Stewart's Brewery on Tuesday night for 1/2 priced burgers...
I'm no DE expert, but I can tell you this - I hate chain restaurants. That said, 5 Guys and Jake's are indeed excellent, but Red Robin is horrible. Unless of course you find your burger tasteless without ranch dressing, 3 kinds of cheese, chili and onion rings. I don't. A good honest burger doesn't have to hide behind goop and slop. And that is why if you live within 10 miles of the original Charcoal Pit, you have no reason to ever go anywhere else. An excellent, consistent, delicious burger, made with fresh ingredients. Can't beat that.
Where are all the Mother Feeding pictures?!
Post a pic will yall!![]()

In DE, I love 5 Guys and my husbands burgers the best.
I have to say that the best burgers I've ever had outside this area was in L.A. at a place called Hampton's Hollywood Cafe. It was amazing. It was a restaurant owned by Paul Newman which has, sadly, closed. Definitely had the most memorable burgers I've ever had.
Hampton's
Applebee's on 202, hands down the best.
