Is Jakes, hands down. Red Robin, yea does not compare.

I did a review of Sonic, which is slowly working its way towards us,

    They make a good burger.

That Burger at Cavanaugh's was pretty good that day.
We need to go there again for lunch when I come back to work....

P.S. That was supposed to be tomorrow, but thankfully that's not the case.
I am so dreading coming back there!

5 guys gets an official "Meh" from me. I mean, they don't even offer avocado? How can you claim to have the best burgers when that isn't even an option? Good fries, but seriously, who can eat that many? Maybe the Duggar family.

And I agree about the In-n-Out....even if they don't offer avocado either. They don't need it. ***droool****

I honestly have to say...the best Burger in DE I've had in a while was Kid Shelleen's Bleu Burger. Effin Scrump-diddily-umptious.

I'm no DE expert, but I can tell you this - I hate chain restaurants. That said, 5 Guys and Jake's are indeed excellent, but Red Robin is horrible. Unless of course you find your burger tasteless without ranch dressing, 3 kinds of cheese, chili and onion rings. I don't. A good honest burger doesn't have to hide behind goop and slop. And that is why if you live within 10 miles of the original Charcoal Pit, you have no reason to ever go anywhere else. An excellent, consistent, delicious burger, made with fresh ingredients. Can't beat that.

We're not lucky enough to have a Charcoal Pit down state. Road House on Rt 1 has a decent bluecheese burger. For chain I like Hardee's.

In DE, I love 5 Guys and my husbands burgers the best.

I have to say that the best burgers I've ever had outside this area was in L.A. at a place called Hampton's Hollywood Cafe. It was amazing. It was a restaurant owned by Paul Newman which has, sadly, closed. Definitely had the most memorable burgers I've ever had.

    Hampton's

I tend to agree & while not an expensive place to eat it is too expensive for what you get.

    Is it March 20th yet?
