Question What's your thought on Middletown Village?

My husband and I were thinking of moving to Middletown. We also have a young child. Our budget isn't very much and was looking into Middletown Village. Does anybody know much about the neighborhood. I was told to stay away from the older part due to drugs and violence.

    Thanks

yes, i would stay away. i hate to bad talk neighborhoods where people reading these topics might live but m-town village went down hill fast. people that bought early are hurting because of a stiff drop in values due to not so nice going-ons in the area.

my wife tells me to tell you to check out willow grove mill maybe. we have been shopping around for a while in delaware casually. when we bought our first home almost 5 years ago we looked in m-town village and decided against it, glad we did i think.

If you don't mind driving and all the hassle just to get up north... House down there definitely newer and cheaper. I don't like to spend a lot time driving back and fort to work. That's why I opt out middletown when I bought my house 5 years ago in Bear. It's a small house but I enjoy the extra time I save on the road. Oh I think south has more rains and is a flood zone area....

Another ghetto in the plethora of many in Delaware. Good living is not affordable anymore, so this the end result. You should sell everything you own and move to Greenville so you can afford the note. At least the kids will be safe...

why do these posts sound sooooooo familliar?

America is an idea, but it's an idea that brings with it some baggage, like power brings responsibility. It's an idea that brings with it equality, but equality even though it's the highest calling, is the hardest to reach. The idea that anything is possible, that's one of the reasons why I'm a fan of America. - Bono, Commencement University of Pennsylvania May 17, 2004

You can only make a mistake once. After that it's a choice.
