Did you see the new one by LG. Think it is called the Spectrum, looks kind of nice spec wise, no ics though.

Looking into it some because my bil is looking at upgrading his and his wife's phones when they come back from their honeymoon. Told him if he needs to know anything to let me know. So need to do some studying on it....lol

the spectrum looks nice, for a regular user either phone is great. i prefer the omap processors to the snapdragons, which is why i went with the prime.

also the 32gb's onboard with the prime is really nice, it is super fast. in order to get that speed with an outboard micro sd card you have to get a class 6 or better which can be quite pricey.

the only thing i see as a ding in the prime is the display is not covered in gorilla glass....im scared....need a screen protector asap.

    Re: What makes you happy?

    Omar really are nice!

Speed wise is not that much of a biggie to me. Don't use the net on my phone all that much, just need it to be somewhat responsive, so it don't take forever.

Have been having some crazy signal issues with the Rezound lately. Like no signal at all in the house, where I would normally get really close to 3G if it wasn't 3G at all. Most times it would be 3G. Thinking an update or something will be coming soon.

updates are coming for most all the new devices here very soon. i hear they are all having weird signal issues, the handoff from 4g to 3g to 1x gets wonky and they are working on fixing it.

i am surprised all the places that have 4g now...lol

    Re: What makes you happy?

Yeah I never got a great signal by work In Jersey, but now I am getting 4g in some places, sure is crazy.

I knew they just did something to signals a little bit ago, been having signal issues since before I upgraded and I know Wify still is and she still has the T-Bolt. So I definitely know it is not just my phone, which I am glad, because I would hate to get rid of it.

    Re: What makes you happy?

Oh and I forgot to add what really makes me happy today is booking a weekend get away in Sugar Loaf, NY for the hubby and me. The kids are going to Comfort Zone Camps again this year for a long weekend held in Blairsville, NJ. Last year we spent 11 hours on Friday taking them up and coming home then about 7 hours on Sunday going to pick them up. We decided this year to just stay in the area. Hubby has talked for years about revisiting Sugar Loaf where he went as a teen. Since we'll be so close we decided to stay at the local B & B. I can't wait!!!!
And for anyone that knows a child that lost a loved one to any kind of death, Comfort Zone Camps are absolutely amazing. I can't say enough good things about them. They were truly a life saver and turning point for our kids in dealing with their fathers death. The camps are only held in 3 locations in the US and only a few times a year. But it is worth the wait and any drive it takes to get them there. I can't believe how far our family has come this last year. We were in a horrible place a year ago and I know that the experience my kids had at this camp last year was the beginning of some peace and resolution for us all. So if you know anyone that has a child struggling with a loss please pass on the information. They do not charge a fee only ask for donations if you are able and they do fundraisers to spread awareness.

    congrats Missy

    2 things today

    1. angela's truck ('06 honda pilot, 140k miles) has had check engine light for weeks and the tags were expired. kept fouling plugs. i took today off to fix it and run it through inspection. we went to pep boys and got plugs, injector cleaner, etc. i went to burger king after for breakfast. as we are sitting in the drive thru the CEL goes off. so we quikc ran it to the DMV and it inspected out, passed, got it tagged, thank God!!

    2. angela's truck started making a nasty vibrating noise 2 days ago when the heat/blower was on. i figured it needed a blower motor. i just droppped it out of the truck and a dead mouse fell out on my hand (gross). put it back together sans mouse and it is running fine now.

    cars fix, NEXT!!!

Grat Missy, and Angela. I guess I'll put off getting a new cat and hire Chase to run off the rodents.

The fact that I'm going to be a Nana again. My DD told us Thursday she's pregnant again. This will be #2 and the two babies will be about 18 months apart. I'm really excited but also scared for her, she has no idea what she's in for with 2 under 2. But that's just one more for Nana and Pop to spoil
