True, but if those damn Sox would of actually played either of those games at the end, then maybe, just maybe, there would be a Playoff before the Playoff.

I know a die hard Sox fan, and he was so happy when they were losing to the O's. All I said to him was it's ok as long as the Sox step up against the Yanks.

America is an idea, but it's an idea that brings with it some baggage, like power brings responsibility. It's an idea that brings with it equality, but equality even though it's the highest calling, is the hardest to reach. The idea that anything is possible, that's one of the reasons why I'm a fan of America. - Bono, Commencement University of Pennsylvania May 17, 2004

On another note, beating the Number 1 team, who was undefeated until today. That is for the 2nd straight season in a row, against the same team. Won 7-6.

Picture this though.....top of last inning our at bat, down by 3, 2 outs, peeps on 1st and 2nd. Guy gets a walk, and then I come up with the bases juiced. Wait on the first pitch, ball, and then comes the second, looks good and BOOM! Little Deep to Right Center, everyone is booking around the bases, I am just trotting, thinking its an out. Guy mis-judges, and I start hauling. Round 1st, round 2nd, going for third, ball is coming from the cutoff, and the turn is made. I touch home, we are up by 1. Boom, team goes crazy, inside the park*. Couple more hits, no more runs score though. Third out comes, and we switch sides, we're, in the field now.

Get an out, couple base hits, guy on 1st and 3rd, infield pop out, and then boom, deep ball to right center. Not a very reliable person, starts flapping the glove waiting to catch it, and bang he catches it. I let out the biggest yell, and start running into the outfield to him. Game Over, we win!

Huge Win, Go Saved By The Balls!

Thanks Mo3, team effort got us that win, great support system we have on the team. When one is own, someone is near by to talk them up, and get them to bounce back.

1st base did a heck of a job, caught everything that came his way, which was a fair amount of outs. Good Job!

Trying to be a little dramatic with the story? There were no outs when you got the hit, not 2. Oh, and it was really a triple until they overthrew third But other than that, your recollection was spot on

    Twas a great win indeed.

    Re: What makes you happy?

You sure there were no outs? I could of swore it was a 2 out rally we were starting off of. Or maybe the 2 outs came after. Guess it was a little unclear with me, since I was still mad about the horrible 2 innings of pitching I had going on.

hey at the end of the day, I said it was technically a triple. The rest of the team said no, it was being counted as a in the Parker, I said whatever and just ran with it.....lol

hey you do have to build it up a little, it's the only way to make it more interesting then it actually was.....lol

Our sleep number bed is on its way which makes me extremely happy but not as happy as being able to share that bed with my best friend and love of my life.
