I've got a 3 day work week coming up, I'm gonna see Rammstein on Thursday night and then this weekend I'm heading to NYC just to wander around and see what kind of trouble I can get into. Its gonna be a good week.

I left my seat at the Rammstein concert to get a beer before they took the stage and when I tried to get back all these security people were at the entrance blocking my way. I tried to tell them that this was the entrance I needed to use and kept trying to show them my ticket but they wouldn't listen to me. They just kept saying that I needed to stay back because the band was coming.
I was like "Yeah, I know. I just want to get back to my seat before the show starts!" Then before I could say anything else half of the band went running past me. They had filled the venue w/ fake fog and right where I was sitting was where they were running down to get on the stage.
I convinced some of the security guys to let me watch from another entrance and by the time I got back to my seat the show was in full swing. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

My house is clean, inside and out. I am so freakin happy it's disgusting. We had most of the house in storage for almost 2 yrs while we tried to sell the house. When we finally brought all the boxes back from storage I had go through it all and either find a place for it or chuck it. That took me a loooooonnnngggg time. We still have a few boxes in the play room, but for the first time in over 2 yrs I have all my pictures back on the walls, my curio cabinets put together and all my kids mementos around. Our house looked like a sterile show room for so long. I have really missed all my family pictures up. So between getting all that done hubby and the kids really pitched in this weekend and helped get the rest of the house clean too. So now the house is back together and spring cleaning is done. I am a happy, happy woman!!

My upcoming 4 day weekend makes me happy. Going down to Rehoboth with the hubby on Monday to do some shopping makes me extremely happy

I am so happy that for the first time in my life I have more book shelves than I have actual books. Yes I am a huge book worm! lol So is hubby and all of our kids. Thanks to craigs list I drove down to Magnolia today and bought 3 large book cases and 5 small ones (all for under $60!!!!!). I am finally going to have one room in my house full of book cases on every wall. For years we have had the 4 book cases we own double stacked with books. I can't wait to start arranging everything!! I am such a nerd, but I have wanted a room lined with book shelves for years!!

My wife and I also read a lot, although Carol reads way more than I do (4 to 5 books a week). We figure when my son finally decides to strike out on his own, we may get the library we always wanted.
