New Subsection for military personnel

I ask Chase to create a subsection for us retired, active, dependent and supportive members of TD. He quickly and graciously responded, and I give many thanks!

This is on a trial basis, and it's up to us to keep it alive. If anyone thinks this section is useful please be kind and leave a post. Let's see if we can get this off the ground.

Fair winds and following seas!

It's not a coincidence that my Lab was named Arleigh Burke's Bay Rum.

My Dad was a Navy Seal. My Nephew had served 4 tours in Iraq, was in Desert Storm and Bosnia. Hope's brother and sister both did a tour in Iraq.
Both houses very proudly have a flag on the porch.

So Yes Sir I am in

My father was an officer (full-time) in the Delaware Army National Guard. My common-law brother-in-law served 5 years in Okinawa with the USAF and has done two tours with the Delaware Air National Guard in both Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan. His cousin is currently deployed with the Marines on foot-patrol in Bagdhad.

SEMPER FI YA"LL...Count me in...I served in the Marine's (in case that isn't obvious) from 1983 to 1989. I have been to Okinawa Japan, Phillipines, Korea, Norway, NC, CA WI, SC, Philadelphia Navy Base, Hawaii, Alaska and tons of other States...I am grateful and proud to have served Our Country....God Bless all those that served and mostly those that paid the ultimate price for ours and the freedom of others!

Both of my grandfathers were in WWII (one in the Pacific on a destroyer, the other in Europe, I believe). My adopted grandfather served as Patton's driver for a long while.

My uncle served on the inaugeral run of the USS John F. Kennedy.
