I am currently in the DANG guard. I did 3 yrs AD and got out and joined the guard. I have been full time since 2001 and have been to Saudi(2), Qatar(2), Germany(3), and Panama.

I would like to thank any military ex or current that is on this site. Thank you from me and my family for your service and your dedication to our country. My grandfather was in WWII, my uncle was in the Navy and both my dad and my father in law were in the guards. My best friend and hubby both did tours of duty in Korea and the middle east. My family and I have nothing but respect for all those that have and are serving our country. And for those with loved ones that have made the ultimate sacrifice, know that there are still people out there that are grateful for the continued freedoms they fought to uphold.

i've served 5 years in the army reserves and finally went active duty april 22nd.

i deployed 1 month after that lol! i have less then a week left here in kuwait (as of right this second i'm typing this in my tent in the middle of a sand storm) then i head up north to fob delta iraq
