PHILADELPHIA -- The city streets in Philadelphia aren't exactly the place you'd expect to find a sheep wandering around, but the sheep apparently didn't get the memo.
Police spent some of their time Sunday morning trying to corral a full-grown sheep taking in the sights in the city's Port
Richmond section.
The animal was first spotted on Belgrade Avenue around 5:30 a.m. Police chased the sheep down several streets. Each time the officers cornered it, the determined animal managed to escape.
Officers finally caught the wooly critter and contacted animal control. So far there's no word about who owns the sheep.
