If theres a person that is irking you, or you just don't want to read their post, get their messages, whatever. you can "ignore" them.
to "ignore" someone go to your usercp, scroll to buddy/ignore list on the left, type in the person you want to ignore and save.
you wont see/get their:
posts
threads
PM's
shouts (i think)
etc.
GOOD WAY to diffuse a problem when you like TD and don't want to leave.
EDIT 6/9/08: Apparently the software programmers did away with some of the ignore features so i have to bulk them up.
ignore a user like normal, explained above... ^^ 
you will see you have new options in your settings at bottom 
hit the "settings" button, check the box, and save. 
this will hide all the post, and all threads by that user... 
PLEASE post if you're having a problem..

Just so I don't appear to be senile, I thought I'd let ya'll know that I have modified my ignore list.
So, if I happen to post on a particular thread, and it appears to be strange in light of other posts...the reason is because I can't see the other posts.
I don't think it will have TOO much of an effect, though.

go to SETTINGS at the top of screen.
On the left, pretty far down, is "Edit Ignore List"
Type in the user EXACTLY as their handle appears online.
Hit "Okay"
