Re: Garden

A friend at mine at work told me that cilantro is famous for tasting like dish detergent...it doesn't taste like that to me...have y'all heard of that?

Re: Garden

I can't say I've eaten much dish detergent, but I do grow cilantro every summer and I've never had any taste soapy.

DCG: I grow cilantro all the time and never had it tasting like dish detergent. Did your co-worker spill some near the plants while they were seedlings??? Just asking!

Re: Garden

Last report on the garden.

Yesterday I pulled the last of the spinach

I have seeds drying from the tomatoes, corn, peppers, and flowers we grew this year.
I have started my mulch pile in the garden....grass clippings leaves....oh and a beer poured on top to promote little bugs to make the compost compost. I am already planning next years garden

cutting banana trees down this weekend

oh....I got corn growing on the window sill
